Re: Your Zombie Apocalypse Kit
I like to say that (here at least) you don't need a driver's license to drive. Don't break the law;don't get pulled over and you won't need a license. You rarely need to show a license to BUY a car. Sometimes you can even license and insure a car without ever showing a license. All you REALLY need a...

Re: Clan Fiend
There's a huge push here to ban single use plastic bags, utensils and take out containers. As a result I've been seeing a lot of commercials for one particular product, a lovely stainless steel cutlery set. Not a 12 or 24 piece set, no, this is 1 each knife, fork and spoon. It comes in several desi...

Re: Happy New Year!
I hope everyone has a happy and prosperous New Year.
I hesitate to say that after our 2020 year. I don't want 2021 going, "Hold my beer and watch this!"

Re: Clan Fiend
Canada pays better for recycling than we do. There's nobody that pays for plastic as far as I know, and aluminum is bought by the pound. But drink cans are so thin and light that it takes an amazing amount, melted VERY carefully (or else they simply vaporize) to make usable ingots. There's a lot of ...

Re: Your Zombie Apocalypse Kit
Belonging to a membership club like Costco or Sam's Club, you sign a contract that specifies you will abide by their rules. We belong to Sam's. When we went, we wore masks for as long as we could stand them, then got out. Their loss, because we couldn't stay long enough to look for everything. Since...

McCarron, I wear glasses too. If you have a mask with a metal strip in it, pinch it firmly down below the bony part of your nose and your glasses won't fog up so much. They do tend to slip when I look down. one pun I saw was "Anyone who wears a mask while wearing glasses is entitled to condensation...

Re: Your Zombie Apocalypse Kit
A spectacular demonstration but he misses the point entirely. 1 - you wear the mask to stop spreading the virus, not to stop getting it. "I protect you - you protect me." His experiment would be more valuable if he was blowing his vape at the mask from a distance of six feet and then seeing if the ...
